Christmas Time

Well I am taking a page from Bonnie's blog and adding some of our favorite traditions.
We have St. Nickolas come to our house. The night of the 5th of December the kid sit a boot outside and if they have been good this year St. Nick brings then candy and toys. Noting really big but fun none the less. We realized that not having lived here for a while that the boys no longer had snow boots (hmm need to get some of those..lol) so we used Jon's extra's boots. The boys had so much fun this morning opening the boots and finding things in them. They did find a note from St. Nick WARNING THEM TO BEHAVE OR NO CHRISTMAS!
HAHAHA come on..I gotta try right!

The picture of Matthew in the bowl just cracks me up, after the kids went to school this morning, he stripped off his jammies and sat down in one of my mixing bowls..lol random!

Also I wanted to show what the tree looks like finished. Danny says it looks like a grandma tree, I like it...what do you think..lol
I am trying out some new decorating idea's this Christmas, hanging glass balls from my curtian rods, and letting the boys help put foam glitter snow flake stickers on the windows.

Ah the boots all full! sorry the pictures are so out of order! And as a side note! I will NEVER bath my own dog again! Man Petsmart rocks! $26 bucks a clean dog and no wet dog smell equals a very happy Rachael! Come on! you try and wash that heathen! hehe

I love this picture of the three boots!
Just some random decorating stuff

We love to do gingerbread houses! We have so much fun! YES, we cheat!...lol..we get it in a box..and put it together but it's still fun to see my kids trying to sneak candy and eating the icicle's off the roof! We used the cutest little gummie elfs!

I love all of your holiday pictures! Your kids are getting so old. I don't know if I have ever even seen the youngest one. I hope your family has a very Merry Christmas!
