Four Months Old

At 4 months old Aidan is talking a lot, a lot of nonesense but we LOVE hearing it! He's started teething...no teeth yet but that doesn't stop him from gnawing on everything from wash clothes, to fists, to toys!
"KEEYYYYY'ARRRR I'm a pirate!"
Lots of rolling over....well attempts, he's only succeded a few times, but rolls from back to front easier than front to back.

Lots of social cooing, smileing and over all giggles and interaction.

"I wanna crawl darn it!!! Why can't I gooooooooooooo??!?!?@@$#"

This is his "Blue Steal" look a'la Zoolander

He's still a lil rolly polly and we all LURVE him!

Sea World Baby!

We we so thankful to Anhieser Busch and Sea World allowing active service military into their parks for free. If it weren't for the "Free" things we had to do...frankly we wouldn't have done much on this vacation!
A lot of these pictures were taken by Jordan Morris so that's why so many of them turned out looking so good!

The Shamu show is always so fun but I do have to say that I truly miss seeing the trainers in the water interacting with the orca's one on one. It's still so sad to me what happened to thier trainer this year, it has definatly changed the show but it's still so fun to see the whales!

MMM MMM MMM....sorry you know it wouldn't be a post without a picture of my hubby! RAWR.

Our poor little mister Aidan had to spend the day at Sea World pretty much in the stroller with the hoods up shielding him from the sun as he's too young to wear sun screen yet, but fear not, we had 4 little spritz fans running on him almost non-stop, and too my surprise, breastfeeding him at Sea World was actually really nice! They have a baby care station with a special nursing room with 3 rockers, low lights, music and a sign asking for privacy, a room to keep older kids occupied, a kitchenette with microwave and purified water for bottles and heating up baby food, a room with 3 changing tables all with A.C. YAY . They also had a vending machine outside of the building called Nanny Caddy, that was filled with things like infant sun screen, bottles, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, and so on....so smart!
Well either way the heat took a lot out of him but here he is happy as a lark at the restaurant cooling down in the shade.

While eating lunch Jordan got this picture of Michael's eyes......BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Amber and Jordan for going with us and for capturing some of my fav pictures!

Just LOVE those freckles!

Look at those green eyes on Cody!

One of my favorite exhibits at Sea World was the Wild Arctic.

It was really quiet cool in there!

Now who doesn't know what this picture is of? HAHA Mommy, Aidan, and Uncle Jordan all sat OUTSIDE of the splash zone....we didn't think that Aidan or the Camera's would appreciate the splashing like the kids would.

Ya, the boy's thought it was hilarious. AHHH Sea World never gets old! My kids have now been to all 3~ San Diego, San Antonio, and now Orlando.

After leaving the Shamu show we came across an act that was on stilts, drumming and doing fun flips. Matty got pulled in to help out with their show and OMG was he excited. Here he is taking a bow! He can be so shy, so him getting up there was 1st. Another first? Matty's 1st roller coaster rides!!! AWWW Thanks Aunt Amber for going with him on some of these since I had Aidan. You and Jordan were a huge help at Sea World as well as Disney.

Jordan and Matt playing on the steal drums...lol what dorks.

ANNNNND here is my favorite picture of the day......Yup.. Matty looks like he's groping Shamu...bbwwwhahahha thats just funny.

Fabulous Florida Vacation

We had such a blast on vacation this summer! So be prepared for a plethora of pictures/posts!
One of my favorite parts of this trip was getting to see Gramma! Matt's Gramma was diagnosed this year with stage four cancer and being so far away and not able to help or spend time with her has been tough so this trip allowed us to see her a few times in between chemo. We also had Aidan blessed by Matt's Dad "Grandaddy" on the 1st Sunday we were there. This trip really worked out for us on timing and getting things done.

These pictures were taken after we had Aidan blessed....ya we're goofs. This is Matt's Gramma, sister Brittany, fiance Jereme, his Mom and Dad, my 3 older kids, me and Matt and Aidan, and his brother Jordan, and his wife Amber and baby Hunter.

My boy's look like little models, they were trying to get out of the frame of one of the shots being taken and Mom saw them off to the side looking all handsome and got this shot for us.
My most favorite moment? Grandaddy singing Elvis to Aidan. I miss my Father so much so often that being near Matt's Father, and seeing him love on the kids the way he does makes me feel like I'm 12 all over again. Bittersweet. Loving the time spent with this Father.......and dearly missing my own. It was a beautiful moment.

This is Auntie Brittany whom we didn't get to spend a ton of time with because of her work schedule but what time we did get was so nice. It was our first chance to meet her sweet fiance Jereme as well. Like I said....we hit a LOT of birds with this one stone.

Swimming at the hotel pool...look my hair was still pink in this shot....that didn't last...all the clorine and salt water from the ocean water stole away the pink. I am currently sporting a blond nasty streak-o-sexiness until I get the energy to redye it.

This was the 1st few moments after we had gotten to Florida. Aunt Amber holding Aidan, the boy's posing, and Matt sprawled on the couch...lol phew ! LONG DRIVE MUCH!

Aunt Britt again, one of the few moments we got to really spend with her.

Aidan's 1st time in the pool. Sitting in his bumbo seat.

Aidan (4 months) and cousin Hunter (age 10 months) HUGE size difference! That Hunter is soooo animated!

Chicken fights with Uncle Jordan and Matt.

Sweet Grandaddy just kickin it by the side of the pool with Matty

Lunch with Gramma at Sonney's...uh YUM I've never had it before. Gramma's lookin HAWT!

Gramma and Cody, Matty, and Michael.

Matt made Aidan an Army Build -A- Bear. It says "I love you baby boy, Daddy misses you!". Each month leading up to deployment Matt is getting a bear done with each boy.

But.........since I spoil my monkeys I couldn't stand to let them leave empty handed so I let them each get a little something...Michael and Cody got wolves..one is named Charlie (Cody's) Michael's was named Fluffy...lol and Matty's.....was named Matty....ever so novel...lol
Sigh what fun we had on just this portion of the trip.......more, more, more, to come!
